Swedish Massage

Swedish massage uses five styles of long, flowing strokes to massage. The five basic strokes are Effleurage (sliding or gliding), Petrissage (kneading), Tapotement (rhythmic tapping), friction (cross fiber) and vibration/shaking. Deep tissue massage

is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue or fascia. This type of massage focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top muscles. Deep tissue massage is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain, are involved in heavy physical activity (such as athletes), and patients who have sustained physical injury. It is not uncommon for receivers of deep tissue massage to have their pain replaced with a new muscle ache for a day or two.       $40/30 min  $80/60min  $115/90 min

 

Trigger Point Massage

Trigger points, also known as trigger sites or muscle knots, are described as hyperirritable spots in skeletal muscle that are associated with palpable nodules in taut bands of muscle fibers.       $45/30 min  $80/60min  $115/90 min

 

Prenatal

Massage therapy can be incorporated into routine prenatal care as an emotional and physical health supplement proven to improve pregnancy outcome, and maternal health.      $40/30 min  $70/60 min  $100/90 min

 

Hot Stone

Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones, either as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body while they massage other parts of the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles.      $85/60 min  $120/90 min

 

Sports Massage

Also known as manual therapy, manipulative therapy, or manual & manipulative therapy, this is a physical treatment primarily used on the neuromusculoskeletal system to treat pain and disability. It most commonly includes kneading and manipulation of muscles, joint mobilization and joint manipulation.    $40/30 min  $70/60 min

 

Reflexology
